Description

1971 Lincoln Mark III Excellent Condition
This Lincoln originally came from Sacramento before I acquired it two years ago. It was obviously and lovingly cared for by its original owner. I bought it and have been improving it and pampering it to bring it up to the condition you see here. This car came equipped with two fairly rare options including power Sun Roof and high back leather front seats. Car has received a general refurbishment and runs and functions as it should including A/C. I rebuilt the heads (worn guides and valve seats). I replaced the wheels with later model continental turbine aluminum wheels that compliment the car and are evocative of the original style turbine wheel covers ( one of which is included with sale). Recent work includes new heater core and other miscellaneous items. Tires have less than 300 Miles and are like new. the 460 engine pulls like a veritable freight train, will chirp tires in second and will burn rubber as long as you want. Absolutely no smoke and runs smooth. Exhaust system including passenger side manifold ( typically cracked) was completely replaced with OEM style dual exhaust with correct resonators. Car has one respray done in a very good quality poly some time ago. Sides and trunk were recently touched up and new top installed in correct grain material. Original trunk trim is complete, jack and tools are complete and secure, and cardboard panels were refurbished/replaced. Overall the car is very very clean and presentable. Body has NO RUST at all. Complete and ready to enjoy. Feel free to call me at 305 542 0142 with any questions. Car is sold as is where is. Thanks for looking.
